Summary
The Staff of Armadyl is a very curious Artefact; 'it is quite useful', according to its creator. In truth, even Jas herself does not know the full breadth of the Siphon's abilities, especially not those that can only be achieved between two mortals.
One such ability is the linking of minds; or, to put it another way, the linking of souls. Zamorak had a glimpse of this ability when the Siphon allowed him to see the threads that connected Zaros to the world from within his own mind-space. Zamorak and Zaros both lacked souls, but when you link to a being with a proper soul using the Siphon, very curious things can happen.
At least one person was aware of this: The Mahjarrat master of shadows, Sliske. -

Following their heavy losses during the Kinshra attack on Falador in the year 164, Sir Amik Varze sends the White Knights' now-famous squire, Theodore Kassel, to the city of Varrock, hoping he can recruit for their order. Arriving extremely early in the morning, Squire Theodore opts to have breakfast at an inn recommended by a friend.

By year 189 of the Fifth Age, Guthix's World Guardian - 'Sepulchre', to most who know her personally - has become regarded by many as the greatest hero to ever walk the face of Gielinor. Her residence at the Blue Moon Inn of Varrock in the late 160s is well documented, and her Morytanian heritage is somewhat common knowledge, at least in Misthalin and Asgarnia.
One of her more obscure connections is to the Misthalian Archaeology Association, a connection made the day she arrived in Misthalin, through a man whose aid was integral to her transition from Darkmeyer to Varrock.
A few days ago, Sepulchre received a letter from this same man, asking her to return to the Senntisten dig site east of Varrock. As the letter sounded urgent, the World Guardian decided to answer this call, accepting the unavoidable memories to come.- Language:

Summary
A hero to one person is a villain to another. It's often interesting how our perception of a person can change, simply by seeing through their eyes for one moment.
Perhaps even more interesting is how one moment can change a person's perception of the entire world. This tale is told through the eyes of Vengeance, who does not believe herself a hero OR a villain, because in her eyes, to be the former means you are the latter.
But what happens when Vengeance meets the woman who some consider to be the greatest hero in all of history?
