a concept I had in my head that I can't wright because I cant dialogue but basically Kaeyas father wasn't a bad guy and was forced to send him to Mondstat because of his corrupted father. when ever he can slip away he goes to spy on Kaeya to make sure he is alright but this time Diluc caught him.

“Yes, you have.” Kaeya stared down for a moment as well. “Still, it doesn't hurt to ask. Try the chocolate before you go to sleep. I want to hear your opinion on it the next time we meet.” He gave her one last smile and left.

Summary
He cried a lot.
It did provide him with something back then. Being a child and crying can get you stuff, even if only a pat on the head, but something nonetheless.
However, aging gives you experience, and he's learned that crying simply doesn't solve anything. Behind are the days where someone would see his tears and run to comfort him.
So, Kaeya Alberich wasn't a man that cried… but he was really close to.
or Kaeya and Diluc fight and Kaeya cries bc yeah, trauma and stuff
