“Eyes on me.” There is a sharp satisfaction as those eyes lift immediately to meet his again. “I need your name.”
The man’s lashes flutter. “Shane, sir.”
Ilya nods and lets his hand move through Shane’s hair. It is soft, and Shane leans into the touch, eyes closing briefly as if the contact alone is enough to ground him. The response is so natural that it gives Ilya pause.
“Tell me about your limits.” Ilya doubts he is going to be close to any limits tonight, as Shane looks like he already had a pretty rough night. But he still needs to ask, good hygiene.
A small smile appears on Shane’s face, he looks at Ilya deeply, eyes not wandering away as he speaks, “There are no limit, sir.” He looks at the disbelief appearing on Ilya’s face and offers, “I’m the house slave.”
Or, Ilya didn’t come for attachment, but Shane, bruised, obedient, and unraveling, becomes the one thing he can’t leave broken.

Summary
In their third year on the Centaurs together, Ilya gets slammed hard into the boards. The concussion and broken arm are one thing... The amnesia is another. When he wakes up in the hospital, it is not Shane that stands before him, but Hollander. Hollander, who shares a wedding ring and home and dog with him now, and who Ilya last remembers staring at on a phone screen, hand-in-hand with Rose Landry.
But Ilya's memory needed to be erased long before that before he forgot what it was like to love Shane Hollander.
And Shane isn't going to let his husband go that easily.

“It is nice to meet you, Shane Hollander.” Ilya nods his head at the crumpled paper in Shane’s hand. “What is that you have there?”
“Oh.” Shane’s cheeks are a perpetual state of flushed red. “Before I came, I made a list of, um, things I am looking for in a car? Practical things, I guess. I didn’t want to forget.”
Ilya’s lips quiver, and he resists the urge to let an incredibly fond smile overtake his face. This tall, muscular omega could not be more precious if he was made of teddy bears and heart stickers.
“May I see it?” Ilya inquires, extending his hand again.
With visible reluctance, Shane passes over the piece of notebook paper.
Ilya glances up at Shane, arching an eyebrow. The omega smiles shyly at him, his warm brown eyes glimmering.
“Am I completely out of my mind to try and find all of these things in one car?” he asks.
“I never let a customer leave unhappy.” He winks at Shane, who lets out a small, startled laugh. It’s an utterly breathtaking sound, even as brief as it is.
