The siblings decide to use this journal to investigate the mysterious town and the disappearance of their older sister. Along the way, they meet an eclectic cast of characters like the mysterious Hisoka, determined Kurapika, kindhearted Leorio, and plucky Gon. As they probe deeper into the supernatural nature of the town, even more mysteries arise, and the siblings soon realize the only people they can trust are each other.
