It would have been easy enough to explain - their captain had revealed a decade-long relationship with Ilya Fucking Rozanov and a few more senior members of the team flipped their shit. J.J. had all but kicked them out and somehow that ended in Boiziau announcing they’d stay in an act of solidarity. Then the kids had jumped on the chance to join them. And for some idiotic reason, instead of just booking a few rooms that they could definitely afford, he’d asked Yuna Hollander if they could crash at her place.
Yeah, that would make sense to literally anyone outside of his rag-tag group of baby hockey players.

A rewrite of episode four and what happens afterward.
“Well yeah,” Shane said, his voice took the slightly bratty tone that Rozanov loves. “You keep your house cold as shit.” This made Rozanov burst out laughing. He went towards his dresser to pull out a hoodie. He pauses as he sees Shane’s perfectly folded outfit settle neatly on the wood. He lets a small smile cross his lips within the privacy his back has provided from Shane. Like in every piece of clothing Rozanov has ever had the luxury of peeling off of Shane’s body a neat S.H. was written on the label of Shane’s jacket. He was about to toss an old CCM sweatshirt to Shane when a different one caught his eye. The team had got them this year, they were black with the Boston Bear’s logo in yellow. The hoodie was branded with Rozanov’s number and last name on it. The thought of Hollander, Montreal’s and the NHL’s golden boy, wearing his name did something to him. I guess he didn’t care that Shane was a hockey god, the only thing he cared about was the fact that in a few moments he was going to see Shane wearing his last name. Something he couldn’t let himself dream of.

“Is another thing we will beat you at,” Ilya said with a wink. “Maybe in nine months, you will meet baby Hollander.”
Hayden groaned, scrunching up his face in disgust as he exited the car. Shane was displaying Ilya’s favorite combination of emotions: embarrassment, annoyance, and arousal.
“What the fuck is your problem?” Shane laughed, no venom in his voice.
“This is what people do on their honeymoon, yes?” Ilya winked. “Make baby.”

“Yeah.” Shane slid off the couch to kneel on the floor. “Like this.” He pulled Ilya’s pants down slowly, licking his lips and exhaling audibly shaky when he saw Ilya’s cock lying soft but thick against his thigh. “Can I hold you,” he inched closer between Ilya’s spread knees, running his fingers over his bottom lip in a purposeful invitation, “Like this?”

The text came through as gibberish, and “Fuck.” Ilya threw his clothes back on and ran to get to Shane's hotel room. He'd been too far in his head to pay attention to Shane being quiet and shivering after they were done. Shane had stumbled getting out of bed, bumped into furniture, struggled with the door and Ilya had heard it but he'd been too much of a coward to get out of bed and check and now his submissive was sending gibberish texts and that wasn't good.
“Sorry sorry sorry.” Ilya muttered as he ran. “I’m coming. I’m coming, hold on.”
