Summary
He’s not sure when he started sprinting. When he makes it back to the car, he’s out of breath. He unlocks it, letting his friends in, who are abandoning their bikes. He jams the key into the ignition and turns it, hearing the engine hum, then puts his hands on the wheel. He grips it hard, feeling tears start to fill his eyes. He’s not sure what to do, where to go, his vision is blurry, and he can’t take a full breath. He looks straight through the windshield, at the school, and watches people file in as the bell rings. He feels a tear break through and fall down his cheek.
“Mike,” Will says gingerly, “let me drive.”
Or- After coming back from California, Mike and Will have spent the last year spending as much time together as they can, rebuilding their friendship. They've been secretly hiding their feelings for each other for years, and it's becoming more and more difficult to hold back. They're constantly flirting yet never taking the hint, to the point where their friends and families think they're secretly together.

Summary
Kai doesn’t believe in fate. Not at all. The idea that there’s some sort of invisible power pushing events in the universe to happen is entirely ridiculous to him. He’s not one to say, “science would say otherwise,” but he’s never really believed in magic. And to Kai, the idea of a destined outcome to life is impossible, weird, and a bit creepy. So he doesn’t believe in fate.
And yet somehow, every other time he goes into an airport, he manages to keep running into the same damn guy.
