Summary
Saphir Stellamaris wouldn't call his lot a charmed life exactly. Sure you get to wear fancy silks and jewels and rub elbows with the Gate's Great and the Good. You also have to serve them in whatever way they request. Thankfully they'll pay out the nose for a taste of something exotic and his particular skillset makes it so he doesn't have to endure the worst of it. Still with his coffers now overflowing Saphir wonders how to start extracting himself from this lifestyle and how exactly someone of his background is going to make his plans for the future work. After all a foulblood no matter their breeding is still a foulblood at the end of the day. And even the most progressive cities would most likely balk at his ideas. Although...maybe...maybe this Gortash fellow could be a way of getting his hoof in the door. After all if someone of common blood can rise through the ranks at the rate he has, surely he knows something of breaking through glass ceilings.
The man in fact did not have anything helpful to share.
Kidnapped and literally tossed into a nautiloid for processing Saphir a tiefling courtesan of some renown is having a terrible, no good, very bad day.

Summary
Three-and-one-third bodies have been found in an abandoned vehicle on the riverbank.
It would be a challenging case even without the bad weather, weapons smuggling, white nationalists, industrial accidents, and the concept of pedigree dog breeds—but over it all hangs one troubling question: What is it that fascinates you about Kim Kitsuragi? Is it working class camaraderie? A sinister hex of mysterious origin? Did you imprint on him in Martinaise, like an amnesiac duckling? If you don’t figure out what’s going on soon, people are going to start to notice. Especially him.
And sooner or later? Everything is related to the case.

Summary
"The later it gets into the night, the longer the looks he gives you get, dark and unashamed, and it is better not to meet his eyes when he gets that look."
It is the August of '51 and Kim is trying very valiantly to be sensible when it comes to Harry. Maybe he's getting just a little bit tired of being sensible.

Summary
In hindsight, Blurg really shouldn't have been surprised by this. The teleportation spell had been acting up more often than usual as of late, and he'd known it was only a matter of time until someone teleported right into a bad situation.
Or, Out of the Abyss but replace the player party with the Society of Brilliance.
