Cross has the ability to dream-hop. Epic never explained to him why he disliked sleeping so much, but honestly, his lack of sleep is affecting his health, along with a few other things, and Cross is worried.
So, when he finds Epic asleep with a furrowed brow, he tries to dream-hop into Epic’s head. It feels wrong to breach his friend’s privacy, but maybe, if Cross is there, Epic will start to like sleep.Then he saw why Epic hated sleeping.
