You have been recently released from an asylum after years of being kept locked up, for nothing more than telling the truth. With nowhere else to go, you end up moving in with your half-sister and her boyfriends; it may just be the best thing that ever happened to you.
Ok your family may be jerks, and so are your sister’s boyfriends, but by some dumb luck, you’ve found your bondmate again and stars are you glad you have.
Things may be hard, you may be struggling to get back on your feet, but at least you have each other.
Now if you could just figure out what everyone’s issue is, and just why your sister is intent on practically keeping you prisoner, maybe you could make friend with some of these other skeletons and finally start living your best life.

Now including a skeleton-house that is becoming VERY concerned for your mental wellbeing, (buried after the much-needed war-trauma,) you have to deal with a whole ‘nother group of wacky skeletons judging you. AGAIN.But… in order to have the best comfort fic, you sometimes need to have the worst angst beforehand.
Or, as Gaster once said… you need to break a few eggs in order to make an omelette. :]

There, standing tall, and incredibly intimidating was someone in full armour with a huge sword stuck in the ground. It was pretty much dark except for the stars, and the fire magic from the King and Queen.
Their black cape was difficult to see in the darkness, but Sans was reminded of those action figurines Papyrus liked to collect, particularly the knight ones.
And, that sword was glowing.
Sans cursed and hoped that he wouldn't have to fight, he doesn't the energy left after the climb.
"..Tell me," the voice was husky and feminine, and Sans suppressed a shiver at the tone.

My cervical vertebrae throbs and I cough up dust, trying to keep myself steady by keeping my hands planted firmly on the hard concrete floor. Right, I wasn’t done healing earlier.
“papyrus!” I hear Sans shout the name, one that causes me to look up. But it’s not my name… is it? I don’t think so? I need to focus on healing myself, having been rudely interrupted from said process when I suddenly showed up here.
Or, I love the tag “reader is a sans”, or in this case, papyrus, and this is entirely self-indulgent.
