This is, by far, THE BEST lads polycule story here. Hats off, i've had to literally take SO MANY breaks while reading this because i got deeply emotional in a lot of places. This is such a weird feeling. I've never - super rare, if ever - cried during a 90% smut fic. Like... i'm not sure what exactly it is about this particular story, but it took me way too long to read purely because of how many times i teared up and had to take a break. Probably the way Caleb's spiraling thoughts have been written, maybe because he is a lovestruck, desperate, yearning fool who's helplessness makes me cry on the regular... maybe it's the bittersweet feeling of knowing that despite all that worship and devotion and love, he himself is struggling with accepting his feelings.
But anyhow, wild ride, 11/10 would re-read it every chance i get. And will cry. Again. Crazy, really.

This is such a we written story. Sylus is very interesting character and it's very, very healing to read about a man (Sylus, ofc) be so supportive and simply there for the MC. It's like... A feeling that is rarely found and I'm so fond of him, of them, of this writing and work. MC is so strong and enduring, and it's a little triggering but wholesome and also delicious to read through the entire thing.
