Damian pulls out his phone and dials Richard’s number- his chauffeur has been unfortunately painstakingly instructed to answer no calls whatsoever from Damian, and Alfred has begun to pretend that phones do not exist during school hours. Unsurprisingly, as it is eight in the morning, it goes to voicemail. Damian waits impatiently for the beep. “Richard,” he says, in tones of the deeply suffering, “this place is a hostile environment. I must be collected post-haste, as after this latest indignity I am dropping out. Come at once, or I may die here.”
The dynamic duo attend a parent-teacher conference. No one has a good day.

The people he works with are mostly teenagers, and they all know Jim's address.
They also know that his kitchen is stocked just for them, so of course they take advantage of that. And maybe having a shoulder to lean on. Maybe.

“Relationships need romance, Goh,” Sycamore says with a wink.
“Wait, I don’t—that’s not—” Goh splutters. “Gary and I are not together.”
“Oh, relax, Goh.” Sycamore laughs. “I know some professors keep strict rules about fraternization, but there are no such policies here.” He waves an airy hand. “And besides, even if there were, Gary isn’t technically working for me, so it’s fine.”
“But—”
“No buts,” Sycamore says, firm. “I already called in a favor and booked your reservation for the Le Petite Delice for seven.” He walks away, leaving no room for argument.

He’s calling humans filth and talking about a perfect world and Cyrus hears his own voice echoing from the peak of Mt. Coronet.
If the net result of Cyrus and Team Galactic's plans lead to more people like Lysandre, then maybe they really were wrong, after all.
