Lady Iki Hiyori has ventured out into a countryside inn, to try her hand at dreams and destiny. The Académie de Médecine is her temptress, independence her long-wished goal. But to live alone is no mean task; on her path is a dilapidated inn, a hostess as rude as she is small, and a basement that knocks at her whenever she passes.
And, of course, the blue-eyed boy with the cello, whose songs intrigue her about as much as his thoughtless, preoccupied smile.

For the first time in a thousand years, Yato is dead, while the memory of him survives.

Until, of course, the real World's Greatest Serial Killer waltzes into his life with that cocky smirk and a life sentence for being Kira, the God of the New World.

Kira and his notebook were the reason the Capitol won over the districts. The dystopia of the Games is back in full swing, but when he'd said he wanted to be the God of the New World, he hadn't meant this.
As a prisoner of Panem, Light Yagami has power but no throne, and so he has nothing at all.
So, yes, it was bad enough before L decided to traipse onscreen with his stupid grin and minimal odds of survival.

A natural progression of being the (former) World’s Most Powerful Wizard would be actually attending a Wizarding school. In any other situation, this would be fine and dandy: owls and wands and rival houses and classes that teach you to break the laws of physics.
However, this isn’t any other situation, this is Light Yagami in the aftermath of the Second Wizarding War, with pissed-off serial killers tracking his every move and zombies coming back from the dead with the help of the idiotic agent of chaos, Ryuk. With L by his side (because how could it be any other way?), Light has to make sure they get through what has to be his toughest school year yet.
