There's something terrifying about change, even when it's for the better. In that shithole of an underground, you at least knew it's in and outs. You knew the rules, how things worked, even if you didn't know where your next meal was coming from or when the day would come that would be your last. It was still the same thing. Wake up, go scavenging, reset the traps, come home. Rinse and repeat.
Nothing new happened in an inescapable prison with slowly depleting resources. Just the inevitability that it'd all run out someday.

Even though you don't know much about these two new additions to the house, you trust your friends' judgements.
At least, you thought you did.
When you return home, you find the place is being run by one who thinks she owns the house and your friends, while the other is being treated like an abused dog! You don't know what the hell happened while you were gone, but it stops now!
Will you and your skeleton housemates be able to move past this ugly experience? Or are you too pissed to ever forgive them and return to the way things used to be?
