夜有尽时的后篇，讲的前篇前后的故事，
因为彼得帕克是一个被爱过的名字。父母在已经晕染开的记忆里温柔的呼唤，梅带着责备拉长嗓子支使他去买食材，内德兴奋地为通过考试和他击掌的那一刻，托尼给他的拥抱，三次，其中两次都与死亡有关。彼得帕克的存在意味着他不仅作为蜘蛛侠被爱着，在脱下战衣后也有人爱着小个子的皇后区少年。所以他不能去见托尼，不能抛下十六岁的彼得帕克。他想要听到托尼叫他彼得，像他们在工作室里，头靠着头，听托尼说：“彼得，你是我最喜欢的年轻人。”他要托尼爱他，像爱那个德国机场懵懂的孩子，像爱穿上新战衣后闪闪发光的青年，像爱那份在他怀里死去的责任。
这是某种可笑的自我惩罚吗？就算再认识一次，托尼当然也会喜欢他的，但是这种感觉就是……不一样。他不要托尼认识一个叫做彼得帕克的蜘蛛侠，他要托尼爱最初的彼得帕克。

"So, I was dead." The man begins, pouring the red liquid into two glasses that Peter has no idea where he got them from. "And then I wasn't anymore. Then Rhodey told me it had been five years. Then I thought: Oh, so it was my turn to spend five years dead." He sets the bottle aside once both glasses are filled and continues: "Then I looked at my ex-wife and asked her where the boy I died for was." He turns to face him, resting a hand on the counter. "Then imagine my surprise when Pepper looked at me with those beautiful eyes of hers and said: Who is Peter?"
Tony tilts his head, studying him with analytical eyes.
"So, Peter Parker, kid, you have no idea what I'd give for you not to understand this question, but what the hell did you do to our lives?"
Or: Five years later, Tony returns. Peter would have liked to have been told that his mentor was in a coma and not dead, but he can't complain.

Peter finds it difficult living with Tony at the compound. Sure, its handy for work and Avengering now he's finished MIT, but there is the constant soul-crushing rejection and ever-lingering embarrassment even years after the ill-fated night he'd decided to kiss Tony and tell him how he felt.
But it couldn't get more difficult that that, right? Or at least Peter didn't think it could until another Tony popped into existence, grabbed him and called him 'baby'...

"I missed you." He whispers, honest despite feeling trapped. "Everything has been wrong since you left."Peter feels the microscopic tremor in the hands holding his cheeks, a barely perceptible vibration that betrays just how much strength Tony is using to keep from losing control.
"I know. I know it was unfair, baby." Tony says. "And I know I was an idiot for being late. But—But I'm here now, all right? I'm alive, I'm divorced. The Tower is yours. My suits, my heart, and my time; it's all yours if you want it. You have me. Since Titan, since Germany, since forever."
The nickname makes him close his eyes for a moment.
"I want it." He says, opening his eyes again to look at him. "I want all of it."

The picture changed again, and Pepper gasped sharply.
Tony Stark lay flat on his back.
The billionaire subsequently breathed in and blinked awake in a half startled grunt. Pepper and Happy watched in frozen shock as Tony watched the ceiling a moment before turning his head to the side. Then his head went back again, and he closed his eyes with a groan. The camera trailed over to the source of Tony’s displeasure. There at his side, still unconscious, was Captain Steve Rogers.
Or rather:
Several months after Civil War, a new threat presents itself, in which Tony, Steve, Peter, Sam, Wanda, Clint, Natasha, Bruce and Bucky are captured and thrown together on an Island that had been manufactured by Hydra. Trapped, The Avengers have no other choice but to rely on both their wits and one another as they brave the elements, face off against new foes eager to make a name for themselves, and of course, try and make their way home alive.
(So far, the only thing they can agree on is keeping spider kid from dying, which is a pretty low bar, but it’s a start.)
Oh, and they have no idea that their every move is being filmed and broadcasted live on national television.
