He simply refused to acknowledge it for a good amount of reasons, but at this point, it really is useless to ignore the obvious. It wasn’t only about relating to Asada’s thoughtful reply last night, but also about experiencing something he had never felt before and yet, was impossible to mistake.
Somewhere along the way, Eijun’s feelings towards Okumura stopped being exclusively about friendship and shifted into something more.

Koushuu raises a brow, half-listening as he focuses on pressing the coffee grinds tightly into the tamper. “Who?”
Taku throws him a look of disbelief. “Sawamura Eijun!” He jerks a finger towards the door. “The guy who just left the cafe??”
“…”
“You don’t know him?” Taku casts him an incredulous look.
“Obviously I know his name,” Koushuu elaborates, slightly curious as to why this over-energetic, hyper bundle of energy could excite Taku of all people. He presses the on switch and lets the coffee machine work its magic. “Who is he?”
“He’s the ace of our university’s baseball team! And he’s only a year older than us!”
