Sequel to The Brother I Never Wanted
Harry and Louis are now in university, nearly a year and a half after their first meeting, and going strong. Harry's followed Louis to London as a music productions major, while Louis is beginning his sophomore year. They've just come off a summer of romance and sickly happiness, only to be forced into the cruel hands of college. Louis chooses to maintain the mindset that he's just anxious about starting another year after a particularly turbulent freshman run, but perhaps there are more cracks in their relationship than Louis originally thought, and it's not just university that's the problem anymore.

Louis Tomlinson is your average stereotypical nerd. He likes to study and stay out of trouble - his only real sense of adventure being his role as team captain on his soccer team. He’d named it a long time ago, quietly, carefully, like you label a box you don’t plan to open. It fed everything else. The hope he’d already strangled. The recognition he’d buried. The longing. The wanting. The terrible, stupid belief that some things could be mutual without being spoken. That you could be seen without asking for it. That someone could know you and still stay. Understanding.
Maybe if he killed this one, the rest would finally starve.
