Izuku was 8 when someone in his apartment complex had a quirk accident. The whole building collapsed, crushing his mom and his left arm and leg. After the incident he had nowhere else to go so he stayed with the Bakugo’s. He still pursued his dream- like losing a couple limbs was going to stop him.

After getting into UA's hero course, Izuku had three goals he was determined to achieve.
1- use his quirk to become the best hero he could be and help everyone, no matter who they were
2- keep the exact nature of his quirk a secret (and make sure his best friend kept it secret as well)
3- make sure no one found out about his mum until he'd achieved his first goal, especially his teachersAfter his quirk is revealed at the USJ when the League of Villains attacked, Izuku thought that UA would turn into another Aldera where he would only have Kachan and his ghost friends on his side. To his shock, this didn't end up being the case but now Izuku faces an entirely unforeseen problem. With friends and teachers slowly breaking down his walls, Izuku finds himself fighting to try and keep his teachers from growing more suspicious about his home life and past while dealing with his over protective best friend, the pressure of the looming Sports Festival, and the very real possibility that he might just end up failing that third goal.
Also, what the hell is One For All and why are the seven ghosts haunting All Might so worried about Izuku finding out about it?
