Red looked head-on at Bulls, the red eyes from the mask somehow exemplifying his annoyance. “I know what that means. I’m just surprised that we were assuming I had a plan.”
Bulls released a small huff of laughter. “Heh. Ass-uming--”
“Why the fuck did I agree to work with you two?” Frank snapped. His tone -- the low and menacing he usually reserved for the people he killed (and which often made them piss themselves) -- only made the pair of assholes he’d teamed up with smile broadly.
“Dunno,” they both said.

Matt frowned and shook his head. Upon remembering that Frank probably couldn’t see him very well, said, “No. It can’t open from the inside.”
“Shit,” Frank muttered. Then he tried shifting back, a bit further from Matt. At the newfound predicament, Frank was suddenly less comfortable. And…
Oh. Matt’s face broke into a shit-eating grin. Frank didn't comment on it because he couldn’t see it, and thus he had no idea the Matt was planning something.
Matt let the silence rest for a couple seconds. Then, “You know, Frank -- normally you would’ve at least suggested we kick in the door by now.”
Frank wasn’t entirely sure how Matt’s senses worked -- he’d never asked, and Matt never explained. So he probably didn't realize Matt could sense the heat pooling on Frank’s face and… elsewhere. “I wasn’t thinkin’,” he shot back defensively, shifting a bit. “‘Sides, we don’t have much room in here.”
“No,” Matt said slowly, “we don’t.”

“Whaa?” he said to himself. That couldn’t be right. Normally he was great with identification, but this had to be wrong. It couldn’t be Frank Fucking Castle up there singing to some… panicky guy (who was also familiar, now that he thought about it, but this wasn’t his main concern at the moment).
He had to check. Matt had to know for sure.
Quietly, he made his way to the back of his current building so he’d be out of view once he jumped onto the one with MaybeFrank. The music had naturally drawled to its close, and the two men on the building weren’t saying anything.
Matt jumped on. Neither stirred.
In fact, Matt thought his stealth was at its peak until he heard a familiar gravelly voice say, “Try not to startle the kid, Red.”
The other man’s heart rate spiked as he turned to look at who Frank was talking to just in time to see Matt squawk with surprise and trip over his own two goddamn feet.

Matt starting moving around, rotating his hips in an attempt to dislodge Frank’s hold.
Frank grabbed him tighter. “What happened in there?”
“In where?” Matt shot back accusatorily, having chosen the new strategy of swinging his arms in circles like helicopter blades. This was considerably less effective.
“In the -- the hell is this? What are you doing?”
Matt sighed dramatically, flinging his head back and crossing one leg over the other (Frank wasn’t holding him as tight as he thought, then). “Carry me, peasant.”

“For fuck’s sake,” was Frank’s reply. They were currently back-to-back and covered in goop. It smelled distinctly of manure, and Matt was, of course, not a fan of manure. “Stop squirming, Red.”
Matt complied, stilling every muscle in his body.
No one spoke for about two minutes, but Matt was inclined to say he could hear the grinding gears in Frank’s brain as he, too, searched for a solution.
When no solution came, he resumed squirming.
