“Sooooo,” Eddie leads. Steve tilts his head to look up at him. Dark eyes flick to his quickly and then away. “What’s it like? Uh, the dating thing.”
Steve sits up a bit, intrigued. Eddie has stopped playing with his guitar for the moment, instead picking at the edge of his cut-off sweats. Steve wrestles his fuzzy mind back to working by taking a large gulp of water, letting fresh clarity burst into his brain.
For some reason he has a burning urge to really sell the ‘dating thing’ to Eddie.

But he might be coming close to ranking moments like this up there with all of that.‘This’ being the beautiful moment of the front door opening, setting the little bells into a merry jingle, looking up like he always does around this time of day (just in case) and meeting the golden eyes of the unfairly gorgeous Steve Harrington.

He’d lost the plot when Steve had taken his tank top off to jump in the pool with the kids, and hadn’t got back on track while watching all those rippling muscles breaststroke, or butterfly stroke; some kind of stroke that Eddie feels like he might have any moment now.

A Peter Pan book AU. Stede has been forced to grow up and put his childish dreams away, but one night he gets a mysterious visitor that brings it all back.
Stede is dreaming.
He rarely remembers his dreams; his father would say that he spends so much of his awake life dreaming that his sleeping mind has no need to provide more material. But sometimes, a dream breaks through. This time, he’s dreaming of Neverland. It’s an old favourite, and it used to feature more heavily in his dreams when he was a child. He used to be able to see it in great detail, back then. But the map of Neverland that he holds in his mind is locked away in that box, with his Belief, safe and secure, never to be looked at. He only has a dim recollection now. It’d sharpened into focus for a short while, when Alma had gone through her pirate phase a few years ago. But she, unlike her father, had done the proper thing and left it behind as she grew.
But tonight? Tonight it’s so clear that he can smell it. There’s brine, and gunpowder, and adventure.

A traumatic brain injury leads to a downward spiral for Steve. He's dropped from the Blackhawks, his recovery is slow and rocky, and he's got no idea what to do with his life.
Enter his old friends, Eddie and Dustin, who spend their time poking around decrepit haunted locations filming for their YouTube channel. Steve doesn't really believe in all this ghost stuff, but he's got nothing better to do than join them.
Besides, he might just be ever-so-slightly head-over-heels for Eddie Munson.
