Tucking his legs up, Peter flipped through the air, his heart racing as he fired a fresh web, picking up speed. Moments ago, he'd just got an alert through the system in his mask that a "Code Red" was happening. That meant that Mary Jane had activated the signal device he'd given her years ago, which she'd fortunately never had to use... until today. His mind raced as he drew within a block of his apartment. Normally he'd attempt to be more discreet upon entering, but there was no time such precautions now.

"Now, to hurry and get home and hide it before my lovely bride gets home..." he muttered, his wrist already extended to fire a web. His spider sense prevented him from doing so; it was a light tingling, indicating it might not even be him in danger, but that something not good but not life threatening was about to go down around him. It didn't take him long to get the answer as to why as, suddenly, he heard the sound of glass shattering just below him. He glanced down to find an individual reaching through the newly broken window, pulling out some jewelry.

My name is Peter Parker,” he said into the handheld audio recorder, “and this is my two-hundred twenty-first test of Project Flashpoint. Alright, little guy, let’s do this for hopefully the last time...”
After setting down the recorder, Peter then slid on his gloves before lifting the lid of the small enclosure. He then reached down and, taking the barely visible piece of nanotechnology and setting it on his fingertip, he slowly reached down towards his little mouse friend he’d affectionately named Steve, because that was the best possible name for such a creature and not at all just the first name that had popped into his head. The tiny creature lost the use of his back legs a year ago, and Peter had been seeking to help the little tyke overcome the effects en route to doing the same for Flash and hopefully millions of others.
“Alright, little buddy,” he said as he slowly lowered his finger containing the small device towards the creature. “Nice and easy...”

Summary
Ned has to admit it, he was kind of afraid he’d find the apartment in a terrible state when he’d come back from vacation. It is universally acknowledged that he’s the back bone of their little ecosystem of an apartment – universally as in, acknowledged by his dad, May Parker and, most importantly, by Tony Stark from that one time he visited back in January (honestly, that might be the one thing Ned is the most proud of himself of in 22 years of existence). If you ask him, he’s not just the back bone of their ecosystem, he’s the entire skeleton: without him, things collapse and you’re only left with a shapeless blob. Two and a half weeks without him? Yeah, this should have called for a crash and burn type of situation.
Or so he thought.

The video pixellated, Beck’s face disappearing, and Peter waited with bated breath.
The video popped back onto screen, this time focused squarely on Beck’s face. “Spider-Man’s real name… is Peter Parker!”
The display changed into a photo of Peter’s face, and just like that, his world turned upside-down.
(Or, an extension of the post-credits scene in Spider-Man: Far From Home, and some speculation as to where these characters will go next.)

After the apparent death of Norman Osborn and his subsequent exposure as the Green Goblin, alongside the arrest of Tombstone, Peter Parker attempts to continue juggling his life as the Spectacular Spider-Man as well as his life as a normal high school teenager. Yet Peter already knows just how difficult such a simple task can truly be, and he soon finds himself caught in another villainous scheme by yet another evil mastermind. The odds are stacked against him as always, but Spider-Man refuses to give up until the day is saved.
