Lady, if the Institute doesn’t let you in, then you don’t get in. Even if I wanted to take you there, I can’t. They booted me out. I’m just a loose end waiting to get tied up by you.”
She glared at him. “What do you mean?”
“The Institute revoked my access after they sent me out here,” he paused, exhaling a lungful of smoke, “but I’m not stupid. They want me dead because I’m a liability, and they knew you’d come looking for me. You, like the rest of us, are just another pawn in their scheme.”***
Instead of killing Kellogg at Fort Hagen, Nora decides to hire him to help her find her son. Together, they traipse the Commonwealth on a mission to eventually take on the Institute.
