Summary
There's something like a scuffle coming through his earpiece. A high pitched yelp breaks through the muffled sounds followed closely by the tumbling of heavy equipment. Jungkook goes silent, eyes blown wide as he listens intently to Seokjin's end of the transmission.
"P-Pink?"
There's static and then—
"Hello, 'Bun.' It's been a while."
That's not Seokjin. Jungkook exhales shakily. No he knows this voice... this is—
"No- why are you there?" Jungkook takes a step back, a horrifying realization striking him. "Where is Pink?!"
The laughter that comes in response is airy and light. Dripping with something that makes Jungkook's skin crawl. It's familiar and unconsciously his hands ball into tight fists.
"I think you have something I want. Care for a trade?"

Cloud, anticipating the end of the world, instead wakes up crammed into a body not his own. Or maybe it is his own—just tiny and enhanced and, oh yes, primed to be some kind of mind-controlled assassin. That wouldn't be so bad, if not for the fact that he'd arrived just in time to be imprinted on his handler like a baby duck. And even that wouldn't be so bad if not for the fact of who his hapless, unintentional new handler is: Sephiroth.
Good thing every single one of them is flying blind through this mess.

When Hoseok first laid eyes on him, he surely didn't believe to be this long gone. He's been stressing over what he's going to do when he sees him even if it's from thousands of feet away and only twice a day. As gods, it's their job to guide the sun and moon correctly around the earth on their respective paths. Without the gods providing their energy to the sun and moon, consequences will quickly come into play.
Hoseoks' current objective is to figure out the name of the moon god. The paladins that assist Hoseok were never allowed to cross over into the Galaxian Operative Dimension, the place where the moon gods Guardians control the stars. The same went for the guardians: no entry into the Paladanium Associative Kingdom.
With the gods' decision to terminate the border between the realms and give free roam to gods, goddesses, and nymphs, the idea of the evil that lies beneath the surface was never a factor that crossed either of their minds.
Maybe opening the border wasn't such a good idea.

When a child is born, their sin tendency is tested and recorded just like their blood type, their weight, their height, their footprint. Much like blood type, it isn’t relevant until it is -- as ineloquent as that sounds. It isn’t relevant until you’re bleeding out and you need blood, you want to give blood, or maybe you stumble across a random personality chart on the internet. It’s something you can forget about. It’s something you don’t necessarily have to be educated on.
Except your blood type won’t make the expression fall from someone’s face and keep you from having a future.

If there was anyone who was supposed to get out, it was meant to be Kim Namjoon, with his love for tiny insects and climbing the tallest trees to get to them, and his ability to not just read any book in one sitting, but to actually absorb it in that time too. Namjoon, in his suspenders and old suit jackets that must have been his grandfather’s, who never could find his shoes and ran through the woods barefoot more often than not. A gentle giant of a boy who was as tall as he was already at age ten, who watched his peers grow up slowly around him. It always felt like it would be the same. Namjoon running ahead, and others following. Except - he didn’t run ahead, apparently. He got stuck here, in this blackhole of a village that collects things and warps time.
(Seokjin returns to the tiny town he's from to find its inhabitants' anger directed at the one person he imagines deserves it the least.)
