Summary
After the destruction of Tipoca city, the Bad Batch finds themselves separated still, and now permanently so it appears. But not all is as they were made to believe. And while Crosshair realises that, there's karking little he can do about it. But he'd be damned if he didn't do it anyway. Meanwhile, he keeps finding himself tripping over regs.
The Bad Batch soon discovers that not every problem that stands between them is surgically removable, and recovery doesn't just take time. Sometimes, it takes convoluted detours and answers you didn't know you were looking for.

Kallus liked to tell himself he'd long since ceased to think about the words inked onto his forearm in deep violet, partly obscured by the angry scars from a Lasat's claws. But the truth was he knew them perfectly.
