Tommo went into work these days more often than not feeling as if he had taken a load of drugs or should at the least be in the loony bin, not helped by the fact that the police force was, apparently, made up of vampires. Of all the professions, eh? If Tommo had to stick a bet on it, it’d have been politics, not policing. Oh, and did he forget to mention that the chief head-fucking-honcho of the vampires was apparently his partner. Yeah.

He puffed out a slow curve of smoke, stepped backwards to tap the cigarette he was smoking into the ashtray on the table and then joined Wilson where he was stood frozen looking down at his new uniform. “I thought to myself that you’re quite like a cat, Jimmy.” He hummed nonchalantly like they were talking about the weather. “Independent, definitely. After a few too many unfortunate accidents, House decides to train Wilson.
