They'll christen Yagami's stupid futon and then move all the furniture back in the morning and he'll have to borrow clothes or go home smelling like sweat and Seven Stars and semen, which is a ghastly combination.

Raising his fists, he dropped into a fighting stance, ready to teach this shabby little punk he'd picked the wrong place to fuck with- but then, with his gaze flickering down to Ichi's lapel pin and back again, the guy went ahead and asked for the one thing Ichiban Kasuga could never refuse.

Silence fell around the table as they all considered this new angle. If they were talking about any other guy Seonhee would have suggested finding him a pretty girl who’d show him a good time. [...] But she knew it just wouldn’t work. It’s not that Kiryu-san didn’t appreciate beautiful women; he just wasn’t a man who’d fall head over heels for one so quickly. It was a quality she admired about him, and which, at the same time, annoyed her to no end. The man was immovable like a mountain.
“There had to be someone else,” Saeko said. “You don’t really believe Kiryu-san didn’t even have a crush on anyone after Yumi died, do you?”
