Jax considered himself important, an important and special person. The thought had always followed him since he was a child, being an only child and all, he had everything he wanted, when he wanted it, a family that supported him in any interest he showed, and although his parents' attention almost always turned to work, he never considered himself neglected. It was only natural that he would be better than others, you see.
His first franchise was a resounding success from day one. Critics called him a genius, customers lined up to try his dishes, investors knocked on his door with outrageous offers. But even with his meteoric rise, Jax never stopped reminding himself that this was just what was expected. The top was never a goal for him, it was the only place he belonged.
The rabbit has separated himself from the spotlight and kitchens and has created a solitary refuge in a middle-class apartment. One day however, he meets his neighbor for the first time when she knocks on his door asking for a portion of his dinner.
