“So you’re up for adoption, then?”
Seungin faltered, squinting at the man and his friend. “Um…yes, technically?” It came out as a question.
“Technically?” Felix repeated.
Seungmin sighed, getting a little frustrated. What was up with these two? Did they not think he knew enough to help them? And the black cat was still staring at him blankly, expressionless.
“Yes, I’m technically up for adoption. Why don’t you let me bring you inside so you can look at some more kids? Have you looked at the indoor playroom yet? Most of them are probably in there since it’s pretty hot out. Why don’t you find the rest of your group and head over there.”
“But I don’t want to go look at the little kids,” Felix protested, and he took a seat next to Seungmin on the bench. “I want to talk to you.”
Seungmin stared at him. “Why?”
OR: puppy-hybrid Seungmin has given up on ever being adopted permanently. Until seven gorgeous men step into his life and fall immediately smitten with him.

"F-fuck." He groans out as the thumping drowns out any other noise that might have seeped through the walls. The pain is horrible, but it will pass. It always does. The tears begin to fall silently as he rocks back and forth in the bed, trying to dull it—help it.
Seungmin wasn't always like this. These constant drops didn't happen. He knows what could fix it. He knows that this pain is a choice that he willingly put himself into. It keeps him safe. It is his protection.
He was classified as a sub at the age of 20. Subs have a need to be put into a headspace, usually referred to as subspace, somewhat regularly to keep these drops from happening. To keep them healthy. Seungmin now chooses not to be put into subspace. Not anymore.
If he were allowing a dom to put him in subspace, he wouldn't have to deal with this pain, but this is pain he has control over. He is inflicting this on himself. He knows what to expect. He knows what it does to him. He would rather this control than that fear.

Minho settled, the alpha’s words making him nod, sinking deeper into fluff and fuzz. “Yeah…” He agreed, a small purr starting in his chest. Minho would do that, he’d look after his pack, scent them all so that everyone would know.Someone is looking after Chan’s omegas. All he knows is that they have the prettiest scent every time they douse one of his boys in it, leaving his pack too scent-drunk to tell him who keeps looking out for them. He’s determined to find out though.

Anything? Is he sure about that? Seungmin thinks of a way to soften the blow, to come up with a prelude before dropping the bomb that will inevitably change Chan’s life. The same bomb that has already shaken up Seungmin’s reality.
Eventually, he decides that there’s no other way to go about it. He has to be honest. Get straight to the point.
He inhales deeply before blurting. “I’m pregnant,” and with no immediate reaction from Chan, he continues, “and it’s yours.”

He pauses, and Jeongin suddenly wonders if he had gone too far this time. There’s a contemplative silence between them before Seungmin’s eyes darken at the edges. “I think if it was someone I wanted, it’d mean something to me.”
There’s something about the way he says it that makes a fire burst in Jeongin’s gut and burn down his veins until he’s dizzied with it. Flames flicker against his eyes and he blames them when his sight goes blurry. He vaguely notices his hands twisting into the material of Seungmin’s hoodie and Seungmin’s own hands running up his legs.
"Can I kiss you?"
or, Jisung describes Minho's love like he's drowning in it, so Jeongin doesn't understand why Seungmin leaves him feverish.

Jisung looks at Jeongin like he's scrutinizing his answer. Really? Fun facts? He absentmindedly hums. Well, it kinda makes sense, doesn't it? Jisung knows that Seungmin is intelligent (top of his class, as Felix told him) and athletic and literally so perfect. It just naturally follows that the way to his heart is through intelligent banter, through exchange of new knowledge, through accumulation of cool and fun facts.
