"My clothes are wet," Wei Wuxian answered. "If I don't take them off, I run the risk of freezing to death. Don't you live up in the mountains? I thought you'd know about the dangers of the cold."
"I do." Lan Wangji looked absolutely tortured, staring at the cave wall. "So long as there's a heat source and your clothes are no longer soaking wet, you can put them back on."
Wei Wuxian made a face. "But I just got dry. I don't want to put damp pants back on."
"Wei Ying!"
"Alright, alright, fine! But just the pants."

Summary
After the truth about the golden core transfer gets revealed, Jiang Cheng has to reassess his feelings towards his former (or not so former?) brother. He goes to Wei Wuxian's room and something unexpected happens. He finds himself back in the past, but not as himself but as Wei Wuxian instead.
As he watches the events from his brother's perspective, he has the possibility to understand Wei Wuxian's choices better. Is this perhaps a chance for him to change something?(Despite the summary, this fic is mainly focused on Wei Wuxian, it is written for celebrating his birthday after all)

Summary
After watching his husband; his son; nephew; brother and little radishes dying in front of him one by one because of a source of resentful energy; Wei WuXian dies too as he destroys it.
But instead of darkness; he finds himself back in the past when he had just gotten kicked out of the cloud recess and everything looks so peaceful he can’t stand it. No…no no no he really can’t go through this hell again. Not again. Not after everything was supposed to be over.
Not knowing that Lan WangJi has been thrown back in time as well; he tries; and fails at taking his own life by slitting his throat open in the middle of lotus pier and so; he decides to show everyone the future.
If he’s going to live this hell again; he’s going to change it and if these people are suddenly so determined to keep him alive; then he’s not going to let them die either.It doesn’t matter if they end up hating him just as much as he hates himself.
(Or; another time travel fix-it which happens to be a watching the show fic as well! With our favorite baby boy and his husband; all their ducklings and their very much alive family and friends from the past.)

He needs to tell him how he feels. How? He gets out of bed and walks into his bathroom, takes off his pyjamas. He looks himself in the mirror. Suddenly, it comes back to him. The reason why he has never confessed to Wei Ying. How could he ever like Lan Wangji like that? He sighs while turning away and enters the shower at 5:40.
