Summary
Europa, the smallest of Jupiter's Galilean moons, is home to a small colonial outpost. 300 souls, selected by the Winner-Yosefi terraforming joint venture, to convert the frozen landscape into something habitable for human life. But following a vague transmission, the colony has gone dark. Suspecting foul play, Winner and his business partner reach out to garner support of the Preventer Corps - the Earth Sphere's all-purpose, unbiased watchdogs of peace and security - to investigate. The organization acquiesces to the request and sponsors a small team of elite agents, expecting the matter to be an easily open-and-shut case of far-flung colonial violence and piracy. What waits for them at the colony, however, goes far beyond even their wildest expectations...

If you said, "no, your long-lost brother" to Duo Maxwell, he'd think of Solo and be very confused.
If you said, "no, your twin brother you were separated from at birth, and he's now working with the Preventers as a lawyer" to Duo Maxwell, he would go and punch his doppelganger.
Duo Maxwell isn't good at dealing with things, but unfortunately this particular thing isn't going to go away that easily.

Prompt: Loki is Asgard's secret agent and diplomat/spy. His family are aware and love him and work with him, so he actually has confidence in himself and what he does. The rest of Asgard is not and thinks he's the useless prince, Thor's friends included. At some point, Loki and the four are stuck in a very long drawn out situation where all of Loki's skills, in diplomacy, spying, secret agent ninja-ness, magic, and just all around awesomeness come out to the W3 only. Where Loki earns their respect and friendship and loyalty as much as Thor has. And they earn his.

It really isn’t fair that the people he has to work against are more intelligent and interesting then the people he protects. But that is really just his bitterness at the situation talking. He hates Nidavellir. He hates the Warriors Three. Common sense, really, that he would hate being sent to Nidavellir with them. Loki’s lover has a temper. He can get violent but that wasn’t his fault. He says things he promises he doesn't mean but Loki knows it's a lie. Loki was everything he told him he was, he was pathetic and useless, but Loki would do anything to keep him because without him Loki was nothing.
But when a normal day for The Avengers gets Loki noticed by a Supervillain, his relationship with his lover is tested. The perfect life Loki has set up is unraveling. His past isn’t as buried as he had first thought and things that were supposed to stay dead are very much alive. No matter how much Loki says he's happy, he can't convince himself anymore but he can't bring himself to walk away.
Secrets are revealed but Loki prefers the term omission rather than lies.

There was another student here.
Tom recognized him vaguely—while transfer students were not necessarily uncommon due to the war, they were rare enough to at least make an impression. This particular transfer student was in his year, sorted into Ravenclaw after an impressively long hat stall. He looked like he might be descended from the Potter line, but he did not share the surname so his lineage was of no particular interest to Tom. Nothing about him was of particular interest to Tom, in fact, and yet here he stood, holding the book that Tom had come here to find.
It would be a good time to turn away. The Restricted Section was restricted for a reason—only books documenting extremely dangerous or extremely advanced magic were stored here.
Tom’s feet, however, suddenly felt as if they were made of lead. It wasn’t magic keeping him tied down, but something far more mysterious like curiosity or even fate. In any case, the delay was all it took for the Ravenclaw to lift his chin and meet Tom’s eyes.
This Ravenclaw, Tom realized, had eyes as blindingly green as the Killing Curse.
