Dragons ruled the skies of Skyrim destroying everything and devouring everyone the Hold’s rulers sent to kill them.
They turned to a force they were wary of. Something they had no love for; magic.
The rulers banded together this one time and put aside their political differences to approach the Arch-Mage of the College of Winterhold. They told him to find a solution to the dragon problem. Find someone who could get rid of them.
He did.

Summary
When a throw-away comment about the Boy-Who-Lived catches Lucius Malfoy by surprise, he starts to investigate about the boy’s whereabouts. Finding the Saviour of the Wizarding World treated like a common house-elf is not at all what he expected. Not one to let an opportunity pass when it presents itself, he takes Harry in as his ward before someone else can whisk him away, securing the boy’s fame and power for himself and giving him the education he is sorely lacking.
Locked into his room by the Dursleys and half starved to death, Harry hasn’t much hope that anything will change until he goes back to Hogwarts. But then Draco Malfoy’s father shows up of all people and offers him a place at Malfoy Manor.
Highly suspicious at first, he finds that the Malfoys are kinder than he expected and Harry slowly starts to let himself believe that things might be looking up for him at once. But those around him are not as trusting as he is and when Dumbledore tries to warn Harry away from the Malfoys, Harry will have to fight to keep his new-found family and keep the fragile trust he has in them.- Language:

Meanwhile, on Omega, a down-on-his-luck quarian, while digging through the trash for scraps to repurpose and sell, stumbles upon a human buried in the refuse. Horrifically injured, but somehow still alive. Against all his better judgment, the quarian drags the human home and does his best to help him.

Michael Wright believed himself to be a good person. He paid his taxes, was polite to his neighbors, friendly at the workplace, and made regular donations to charities he became involved within his line of work. He believed himself reasonably aware of good and bad characters, which is why he had a feeling Vernon Dursley was of the latter sort and was not very enthused about the dinner invitation.
Harry didn’t like it when people came to visit. Uncle Vernon was always more mean, Aunt Petunia kept shrieking about everything being perfect so they could impress whoever’s visiting, and he always got locked in his cupboard early.
An ordinary dinner might be all that's needed to intertwine two not-so-ordinary destinies into one.
