With a strong warning to notice the archive tags first. Honestly I'd recommend skipping that part as much as possible. The worst incident is in ch3 or ch4, from ch5 this should be a less scary/violent read than cannon. -

John had so easily accepted McKay, even pursued him. It irked Cam a little because John wouldn't give him the time of day but there he was chasing McKay. For a while Cam had thought John had a crush on the other man. But now he was pretty sure that wasn't the case. Plus, Daniel had said there was nothing going on there and Cam believed him, for the most part.
The thing about John that made Cam wonder the most--he was pretty emotionless. Cam had seen maybe, maybe two smiles grace his lips. He'd never seen John laugh. He'd never seen John get angry. He'd really never seen John as anything other than perfectly restrained. To most he probably appeared laid-back and easy-going. To Cam he seemed permanently broken.

Good read!
Note to self:
At the end of this story, Harry is more or less 11/12/something like that.
so basically a lot of crossover interesting world building and good balance but more SG(A) focused I'd say .
I'd definitely enjoy rereading (after I've forgotten the story or even as a comfort read on a quiet winter Sunday /evening) but I shouldn't look at this again when I do not have enough time to spare since it is more than a little long. -

Jack O’Neill’s promotion to Homeworld comes with headaches and a great big heaping of WTF. He needs an investigator yesterday, and since he’s already got enough headaches, he refuses to add more in the form of another attempt to work with AFOSI so figures he’ll try NCIS instead – the Stargate program does have lots of Marines, after all. His foray to the Navy Yard nets him two, because while he may have originally been looking for only one, there is no way he is leaving behind the man that disappeared after saving him in Iraq. Tony is not pleased with his past catching up to him but finds he might just forgive Jack O’Neill when their crossing paths gives Tony what he’s always wanted most.

This is a great read.
Pretty unique world building, good story, well written.
stays interesting. Zero romance / relationships hinted at /mentioned.( well one very minor part of a friendly conversation hinted at the person maybe interesting in dating another offscreen but 99% gen romance free story, no pda no offscreen). [and at what point has that become so rare in fanfic that it needed more explanation than my actual notes on the story?.]
