Summary

But they are only that way due to a very set turns of events that led them down that path. once they were tweaked, even slightly, the results could be far different.
What if instead of letting that day in the alley fill him with a disgust for guns, it taught Bruce Wayne the truth? That power, and thus safety and security, could only ever truly come from the barrel of a gun? What if he chose to protect Gotham at all costs? Even his soul?
And what if Kara Zor-El's trek through the cosmos on the heels of the destruction of her planet did not lead her eventually to Earth, and instead deposited her somewhere far nearer, ruled over by a man with an evil plan for her and an insidious nature?
This world is an exploration of that idea. A peek into what might have been, and is, in other universes.
