Summary
Louis is a high school senior who got cast as Romeo in his school play even though he wanted a different part. He’s trying to win the Rising Talent Scholarship so he can get into Juilliard. It’s his biggest dream and only hope. Now, somebody’s leaving annoying notes in his script. He thinks it’s the girl who plays Juliet. (eyeroll)
Harry is a new student, awkward and shy. He fell in love at first sight with the blue eyed boy who plays Romeo, and has been leaving notes for him in his script. It’s a long story. He hopes the boy never finds out, but he can’t stop. Hopefully he’ll get the costume designer position so he can dress Romeo in his creations.
That was years ago.
Now, on a snowy Valentine’s Day, Harry and Louis are retelling the story of how they met and fell in love.
Or: the one where Harry became Juliet to Louis’ Romeo.

Harry. The name doesn't ring a bell, but Louis is certain he's seen him before, somewhere. Behind black-framed glasses are vibrant green eyes that keep dancing over Louis' body and darting away. He's shy and powerful, an enchanting combination.
They're 20 minutes into the group therapy session, and Louis still can't decide whether Harry is Super or Ordinary.
If he's Super, then Louis could tell Harry what it's like to be the villain Chaos. He could share stories of his crimes, maybe hear about Harry's. But relationships with Supers were complicated.
It would be much easier if Harry were Ordinary.

Something changed in the air when the door opened. Almost irritating, annoyingly gnawing at his brain to look up and face whatever sad loser was in the building with him.
When he did, he understood the irritation in the air immediately.
There were only a handful of people in the world who could throw off his equilibrium without saying a word, and Harry has always been one of them. It didn’t make any logical sense, not after this long, over a decade of no contact and a very clear decision to leave things where they had been left, but Louis had never been able to logic his way through this particular ghost.
