Summary
“Pax, if you don't spit it out, I swear on Primus himself that I'll—”
“Alright, alright!” Orion held up his servos in defeat, the corners of his derma curved upwards nervously. “They were doing this thing with their intakes, it was a little… weird.”
“Their intakes?” D-16 was confused. “Were they fueling?” He'd thought the only thing you could do with intakes was consume energon and speak with a vocalizer. He guessed they were used for expressions, too, but D-16 failed to understand what else an intake could be used for.
“That's what I thought! But they didn't have any energon with them.” Orion thought for a moment. “It was more like… smashing their derma together.”
“What.”
Or
A stupid AU treated fairly seriously, where Orion and D-16 stumble upon the concepts of interfacing and love, which apparently nearly no one else had discovered. What could go wrong?

When the Elite Trine emergency crash-lands on the island of Griffin Rock while searching for Jetfire, they are found 80 years later and brought under the custody of the Rescue Bots. But when Megatron and Optimus seemingly go missing, and with Jetfire still stuck in the Arctic, the Seekers and Rescue Bots agree to a temporary truce to find their leaders, rescue Jetfire, attempt to escape Pynch and Morocco's grasps, and not kill eachother—all while Starscream tries not to break Megatron's one rule: to never sparkbond and fall for Jetfire.
Can be read from either Starscream's POV, Chase's POV, or both!

Summary
Because who would ever truly want to be with a mech like him?
Skyfire certainly wouldn't.
No, Starscream had told himself he wouldn't think of that designation again.
Skyfire had died in a snowstorm. He wasn't online. Starscream had circled half the globe for him.
He would've found him.
Should've.
