Summary
Will Graham has been struggling to find The Chesapeake Ripper but he feels so close to him and yet so far. He meets The Chesapeake Ripper, knowing him as Hannibal Lecter...his priest. The Ripper had lost motivation in staging his crime scenes, opting for grizzly and gory rather than artful and picture perfect. Will, unknowingly, helps in returning some inspiration. In turn, Hannibal decides to help Will with his internal issues and instability. Will learns more about himself through Hannibal and his codependency towards his priest but believes it's not for the best. Unfortunately for him, Hannibal doesn't intend to be much help.

Summary
Count Hannibal Lecter despises Beau the moment he sees him.
It isn’t the first time he loathed someone to this degree. One may even argue that it’s typical for Hannibal to dislike fellow alphas. Most of the ones he encounters are young, haughty things, foolish enough to challenge a thoroughbred — a Lecter. Hannibal sends them all home with broken arms and legs, and even the occasional missing eye to teach them a lesson.
But Beau doesn’t need to be taught. He knows his place the first time they meet, bowing and slouching whenever he’s in Hannibal’s presence to make himself look smaller. It’s what makes him stand out among the alphas that Hannibal so despised.
