Summary
In 1986 Eddie Munson and several other teenagers were arrested and charged with the murders of three high schoolers in Hawkins, Indiana. The ensuing trial was rife with inconsistencies, false testimony and superstition.
Eddie Munson was accused of leading a cult involved in performing Satanic ritual abuse—a result of the ‘Satanic Panic’ that gripped the American midwest at the time. Three members of the Hellfire Club were sentenced to life in prison. Munson, deemed the ringleader, was sentenced to death. He was nineteen years old. -

A chuckle rose up from Remmick’s throat, filling the silence of the night. It was light and almost childish at first, but his laughter quickly transformed into a hoarse cough when the boot that held him down started to put more pressure on his sternum, almost making it crack.

After you move into the family cottage in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, you find your family journal. With dates back to when your family fled Ireland during the Great Famine, you throw yourself into translating the book to connect with your dead relatives.
Unfortunately, that also leads to you accidentally enticing Remmick to your front door. While you know better than to let him into your home, you can't deny how badly you want him.
Two times you can't touch him, and the time you finally do.
