“Oh, Izuku, that’s wonderful!” she beamed, mistaking his resignation for maturity. “I’m so proud of you for moving on from those childish dreams.”
Childish dreams. He nodded silently, biting down on the bitter taste in his mouth.

As Arthur has grown from a prince into a king, he has done what his knights, his soldiers, even the other nobles expect of him. But he has never truly enjoyed it.
