    Summary

    Tony Stark was and always would be a star, burning bright and hot with the kind of gravity that turned solar systems, shaped worlds. Everything and everyone that came close enough got caught in his orbit, regardless of whether it was for a matter of moments, one night, or a lifetime.

    Quentin Beck was no exception.

    Tony spun stardust around him, pulled him in, in, in until he burned, then sent him spinning away into the cold, again and again. Never close enough to fully consume him, never far enough for the fire to gutter completely.

    By the time that wildly eccentric orbit more closely resembled something stable, it was too late to correct for the rate of decay.

    It had always been inevitable that Beck would be swallowed up by their collision, spat back out as something else entirely. But Tony Stark was still a star, and when he went supernova, the entire universe would feel it.
