Summary

But building a team without a foundation is hard. He doesn’t know them, yet must trust them with his life. Listening to his superiors, he takes along a quarian.
She wants to change his pessimistic view of the world. The man shows to struggle with his past. Is Tali able to change his perception?
Story follows a much more renegade Shepard.

But it’s not without its cons. Cerberus, an enemy of not just him, but to everyone, were his saviors. Struggling to reform into his social life as a hero, a legend, he contemplates whether it’s worth it.
Thankfully, a certain quarian plans to fix that. It is what engineers do after all.
Takes place during ME2. Already established relationship between Shepard and Tali from other story, but it’s not required to read to understand what’s going on here. Will have changed to Cannon!

Summary
Commander John Shepard is dead.
His team is crumbling, failing to rejoin society at active members.
Tali’Zorah, Shepard’s lover, is having a very hard time moving on. Stuck in her past, her friends attempt to put her back together.
Unbeknownst to the world, Shepard is in the process of being rebuilt.
Focuses on Tali with snippets of other characters.
Takes place in between Mass effect 1 and 2. Continuation of my prior story, which was a Shepard and Tali pairing. Reading it isn’t required to understand what’s going on, but there will be references.
Note: this most likely won’t be nearly as long as my first work. I’m getting this along so we can get too ME2 soon.
