The world is ending.
What's on TV?
(Or; the darkness keeps growing, but Mettaton closes the curtains. He's not looking for visitors today, thank you. He has everything he needs right in the comfort of his own home.)

Summary
In the winter of his career, Anthony Tenna has found fulfillment in carrying on his love for performance through teaching. In many ways, he's grown comfortable in his routine, foolish as this seemingly was. The department head informing Tenna of a newcomer to take half of his classes had come as quite the shock — and the identity of this newcomer being world's star Mettaton could've sent him to an early grave.

Summary
They’re situated on the top floor of the studio, offering an unimpeded view of the weather outside. Foul, dismal - pouring rain and thundering in the distance, the muddled gray fading to inky charcoal the further Tenna’s gaze wanders along the horizon.
It won’t pass quickly - the kind of storm that lingers throughout the day and well into the night with annoying persistence. The kind of storm Tenna hates.Series

Summary
“Fancy meeting you here, sweetheart,” he teased. “I was starting to wonder if you’d ever show up.”
Tenna huffed out a hmph. Knocking back his drink in one swift motion, he nudged it towards Ramb for a refill. Always played out that way, too, like the buzz would kick in faster. That liquid courage also numbed the pain he was in, no doubt—with his damaged legs and the headache the pippins gave him. Used to numb any emotion, good or bad, but Tenna clued him in on that months ago.
Now? The alcohol masked nothing; it brought out something else instead.
Tenna acts like someone else when he’s had one too many drinks. Or maybe it’s still him—just someone he used to be before Mettaton met him.

Ghost monsters aren’t that common in the Light World. If they were, maybe someone would have warned Mettaton how easy it was to accidentally trip and fall into the nearest Dark World. Good thing his new television is nearby and ready to catch him!

Summary
He doesn't exactly want to keep his new form on the down low for too long. He's excited to show it off, to... share it. That's part of the reason he asked for it.
(Or; Mettaton's awfully creative, if he does say so himself, but there's only so much either of them can do with his old shape. It's about time he... broadens their horizons, so to speak.)

Summary
That’s stupid, though. You know how these things work—with Rose and Kanaya joined at the hip, Terezi and Vriska so inseparable they’ve synched up their sleeping schedules down to the minute, and Gamzee fucking around in the ventilation system like the ginormous creep he’s rapidly becoming, Dave’s options for someone to kill time with have been reduced to you and you alone. There’s nothing special about this, and there isn’t any reason you should want there to be, either. You are in the right place at the right time, as is he for you. End of the story.
