Summary
Newt stares at the new additions to their front garden.
He cautiously steps out and pokes one of the darker mounds of feathers. It is surprisingly soft, actually. Now that he’s drawn closer and is in a position to see over the massive wings – yep, definitely huge, ridiculous wings – he thinks he might actually recognise the limp bodies they’re attached to.
Now is a really bad time for Anathema to have went on that book tour.

Summary
After yet another argument about "working together," Aziraphale throws Crowley out. But a storm rolls in and Crowley is soon lost in the blizzard. And even if he can find his way back, will Aziraphale be willing to help?
--
Blinking the ice out of his eyes, Crowley could see the look of shock and horror on Aziraphale’s face. Knew he wouldn’t want me here.“G-g-got caught,” he managed, struggling to unclench his jaw. “Sssssstorm.” It was more a puff of steam wrapped around a vowel than a word.

Summary
“Who was it you lost?" Aziraphale says softly. “When I was… ah, when I was looking for a body. You said you lost someone. Your best friend.”
Crowley stares. Whatever the expression on his face, it is evidently sufficiently outraged that it makes Aziraphale take half a step backwards. “Crowley…”
“You. Bleeding. Idiot,” Crowley grits out. "That was you."~ ~ ~

“I’ve told the plants what I think about sssspotss!” Crowley hisses, savage. “It had one job to do, and it messssed it up. It has to be punished. It should have done better. It’s a disssappointment and a failure and a worthlesss—”
He breaks off, seeing Aziraphale staring at him, too-perceptive eyes wide and comprehending and horror-stricken.
“No. No. Never worthless,” the angel breathes.~ ~ ~

“You said you were running?” The first man addressed Nadia again. “Any reason?”
“Um.”
“You’re safe here,” the second said gently, leaning towards her. “No need to worry.”
~
Nadia’s night away from her family is not going well. Turns out there are homophobes everywhere. But then she somehow ends up in a dark bookshop with two very friendly, very gay people, and the evening starts looking up. It almost starts to feel like she might not be alone in the world after all.

Summary
The words won’t come to him. Not because the nightmare has faded, like most dreams do, but because he can’t pick something to say. Hell was scary. Hell and the hands and the elevator would have sent him trembling into Aziraphale’s arms as soon as he woke up.
Hell was the best part of the dream.
Sometimes, Crowley’s nightmares go a bit further than a scare.

Might as well admit it all. Well, not all. Probably not the right moment for I love you, I've always loved you, you took my world when you walked away, my reason for not even caring that I've been damned, I've been stalking you like the creepy demon I'm supposed to be ever since, do you know you're beautiful? "I thought you were saying we were nothing to each other, and I said things I didn't mean. I'm sorry, all right?"
There was a long moment in which Crowley stared at his hands on the steering wheel, waiting for Aziraphale to say something. Counting breaths. Six breaths. Seven, eight...
"I have first aid supplies in the bookshop. Come along now, don't dawdle, dear boy."
"Yeah. Yeah, right. Fine. If you like."

Summary
Crowley was very bored. Almost bored enough to just go to sleep and not wake up until he could do something fun again. But only almost. So when Aziraphale suggested they go to the new exhibit on holy swords at the museum, Crowley agreed to come with.
He should, perhaps, have known better.

Summary
Or: 5 times Aziraphale accidentally blessed Crowley, +1 time when it went really sideways.
Inspired by the Ace Omens Discord server, this is an entirely self-indulgent piece of comedy that I hope someone else will enjoy.
-
After the first incident, Aziraphale is always very, very careful to make sure he knows who he is blessing after a sneeze. He looks around, surveys the scene, and then, only when he is sure that it’s a human or another angel or just not Crawly, does he say ‘Bless you’. Of course, aside from the time on the Ark, it’s never Crawly, and after a while the habit starts to die away. He forgets sometimes, and it’s always fine, until one day he hears a sneeze, automatically blesses the person, and hears a whine.
He does not swear. Instead, he turns around, sheepish, and sees one very annoyed and very seared-looking demon.
“Oh,” he says, over the bustle of the surrounding market.

Summary
"Don't give me that," Crowley says, voice tinged with something like desperation. "You're a million miles away. And you're drunk as anything. And I don't like that I don't know why."
"We're celebrating!" Aziraphale tells him defiantly. He goes to pick up his glass, but Crowley puts out a hand to stop him.
Aziraphale doesn't have the presence of mind to pull back, so, clumsily, he reaches around Crowley's extended forearm and brushes the glass with his fingertips, pushing it over and onto the floor, where it shatters.
"Oh, for fuck's sake," Aziraphale mutters as the wine soaks its way into the antique carpet.

Summary
“It’s uncomfortable to talk with you up there,” he says, in the brisk business tone he adopted from Michael. “Would you mind coming down, please?”
There’s a long moment in which Aziraphale doesn’t receive any sort of answer, and his daring almost deserts him. And then a leg drops into view, and then another, and then a young man is swinging himself down from his perch to land with uncanny agility on the floor. Behind him falls wave after wave of what seems to be a black veil or train— except it’s too elastic and shiny to be either of those— and it’s only when the last curl has hit the tile that Aziraphale realizes it’s hair.
“What,” he says at length.
The boy is wearing a pair of round dark-tinted glasses, but his silence implies that he’s staring right back.
“What?” Aziraphale manages to make it a question this time, his voice going slightly higher than normal.
Alternatively, the one where Aziraphale accidentally finds a hidden tower and a lost prince blessed by the night sky.

Summary
“Crowley is no longer affiliated with you.” The angel manages to sound indignant, of all things. “I—that is, he even got it in writing. Signed by three of Hell’s kings. It’s all very official.”
“Well, we’re not here in any official capacity,” Hastur says. “It’s more of a personal visit. Friendly chat, that sort of thing.”
If he was indignant before, Aziraphale is outright angry now. “You’re not his friends. You hurt him.”
“Of course we did,” Ligur says, as if the angel is particularly slow. And he might well be, if he needs this much spelled out. “We’re demons.”
“You tortured him,” Aziraphale presses, unrelenting.
“It’s Hell,” Hastur says impatiently. “It’s ninety-nine-percent torture on a slow day.”

Summary
When his angel stretches out a hand, cupid’s bow mouth curved into a familiar smile, Crowley knows better.
When he’s led to his own bedroom, pushed down amidst the silk sheets and hastily miracled pillows and a sinful duvet, when Aziraphale leans over him and the whole world seems to hang right there in his eyes, Crowley knows that this is not his to keep.
It’s not for him to have this.

Summary
“He didn’t mean to,” Raphael argued, as if stricken by what she was implying. “Michael, you know him. He only asked questions. He is naive and curious and full of mischief, but that hardly makes him a—a—”
He searched for the right word, groping for the knowledge that hadn’t existed before the War.
Michael told him. “Demon,” she said. “Evil spirit.”
She wasn’t happy to say it. She wasn’t happy to watch the expressions parade across Raphael’s face. Horror, and hurt, and anger, and grief.
