Summary
Sixteen-year-old Aaron Werthingham have only known a life of wealth and privilege, so when his parents force him and his emotional support Salandit to go on a Pokémon journey, he is understandably upset. Thankfully, he meets a mysterious girl who's suspiciously adept for a trainer who hasn't earned any gym badges, and he strikes a deal with her—she helps him train and survive in the wild, while he helps cover all of her expenditures.
Of course, with something as life-changing as a Pokémon journey, Aaron will end up learning more about himself and his friends than he might like.

Summary
Set in an alternate universe, a couple of years after the events of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, this story follows Akina, the illegitimate daughter of a wealthy Kantonian business magnate. Exiled to a remote settlement in northeastern Hisui, she is tasked to do business with and invest in the village on her father's behalf.
However, the locals are strange, even by Hisuian standards, and although the head of the village and his daughter welcome her with open arms, their people regard Akina with a mixture of suspicion and resentment. Even their children won't speak in her presence, instead observing her while remaining eerily silent.

Picking up immediately where 'Smiling Child: The New Night Guard' left off, Roxanne Wolf and Chica Chicken decide to enjoy their newfound freedom by having a romantic girls night out with Eliza in the city of St. George. Having never before gone beyond the parking lot of the Pizzaplex, the animatronics are very excited about going out on the town and try new things. Of course, since they're not considered to be real people by most humans, they will also end up in some unpleasant situations.
