Rody’s roommate did not like him.
That was the first thing he knew. The second? Vincent, his dorm partner, was an absolute dick.
It wasn’t that they were different, it was that Vincent made no effort whatsoever to meet Rody halfway. They shared a dorm room, for crying out loud. Was it so hard to exchange a polite word? Maybe a “hey, what’s up” or a nod of acknowledgment? Apparently, yes. Yes, it was.

The Frontman’s voice is back to being cold, but there’s something in it, something that suggests this moment, this exchange, is more than just a passing encounter. “You are quite alive. It seems that you and I are not so different in many ways.”
Gi-hun’s heart races as the words settle in his chest like a stone. “Not different?” he repeats, his voice catching. “I couldn’t be more different than you.”
The Frontman doesn’t answer immediately. Instead, he steps back, his figure darkening as the lights flicker, casting fleeting shadows on the walls.
“I didn’t save you,” he finally says, his voice low, but he’s not speaking to Gi-hun, more himself. “You’re still a part of this game, 456. The question is… what will you do now?”

Summary
“You're alone James, you can't do it by yourself. You need to get help. They want to help you. You need to tell them. You need to talk to someone.” Regulus states, concern and love spilling through his words.
James looks back to Regulus, looking anywhere but his face. The pain and hurt evident on his. “I'm talking to you” James says, letting his breath out of his lungs in a shutter of air.
Regulus locks eyes with James, face going soft, “Jamie, you know I don't count” He says, staring at James, letting a sad small smile fall across his face.

Regulus takes steps away from James, not daring to look him in the eye, he heads towards the door with James reaching out to grab him. As he takes the handle of the door, he stops, but doesn't dare turn around, because he knows he would give in to those beautiful brown eyes that belong to his lover.
“Goodbye, Potter” His tone is harsh, but lined with pain and sadness.
He doesn't look back as he walks out of the astronomy tower, leaving James and his heart behind.

Arthur looks at Merlin from behind, noticing the way his hips sway back and forth continuously, his hair shifting with every step his nimble body takes. Arthur stops for just a second. He can make a choice; he could tell Merlin that it was all an elaborate scheme to get out of that horrendous party early without judgment. Or he could take on this new plan he's just made to his advantage. If Merlin really thinks he won't remember tonight, why not use it to figure out the truth? Arthur thinks to himself about all those stolen glances, hovering hands, and kind gestures that he and Merlin have traded recently. Arthur's been noticing a lot of that lately, the blush creeping up Merlin's perfect collarbone and onto his cheeks once Arthur says something in the slightest bit flirty, and if he was imagining it, then forget he could, right?
