"Wilbur?" Phil called out to him from the other room. All Wilbur could think was 'Ah Fuck'. Wilbur tried to turn around quickly but ended up stumbling over his feet and giving his dad a clumsy smile. It wasn't hard to tell he was drunk out of his mind, you could just see it in the way he moved and the way his eyes seemed glazed over or distracted at any given moment. "Wilbur, are you?-" Phil already knew the answer, he didn't know why he had asked but maybe just maybe, he was wrong.
"I'm sorry, Dad." Wilbur cried out. Tears welled up in his eyes are he tried to look his father in the eyes. "I just wanted some water..." He tried to slip away from his father's gaze but it followed him everywhere he went. When Wilbur went to grab a glass and almost dropped it, Philza knew he had to step in.
"Wilbur, what the fuck did you do?!" He wasn't referring to the half pulled out glass in the cabinet, even Wilbur knew that, but he had to try his luck.

“Y’know, you’re so smart that I wouldn’t be surprised if you were actually a human,” he commented offhandedly, looking at the horizon with no particular thoughts in mind.
He doesn’t notice the cat freezing. After a few minutes, with no leash getting tugged, the man glances at him with a questioning look. The cat still stares.
“What? You’re not human, are you?”
The cat scoffs, looking away.
Wilbur shrugs. Nothing strange, just a new normal day.
(Tommy, mentally, screams at how dumbasses humans are).
Techno has what is considered a normal life: he gets up, showers, has breakfast, brushes his teeth, goes to college, tutors, works, comes back home and goes to sleep. Well, it’s not exactly like that, but it’s close enough and shorter than the actual thing. In just two words: it's boring.
It starts to be not so boring when an orange ball invades his life - and house.

Tommy's very tired of being a monster; he doesn't want to be one anymore.
All he wants to be, instead, is loved.

Being in the foster system is hard enough but being a werewolf in it is even harder. Who wants a kid who's a beast, a moon child, a lie?
Tommy is sick of wondering. He's sick of wanting a pack, wanting a family so why is it—when he finally gives up—there comes along a family who threatens to tear down all his walls? Who he wants to slip past them and hold him?
It doesn't seem fair.
