Law hadn’t thought that this would work. He’d seen photos, sure, but he’d never seen Cora-san as a Marine in real life. He’d thought it might be a little goofy, seeing him play dress up in clothes so different from his usual bulky sweaters and casual jeans. Only, he’s realizing that he was wrong. Maybe the weight of the coat hanging off Cora-san's shoulders is forcing him to stand a little straighter, or maybe it's that he holds his chin higher without his hat. Whatever it is, his new posture gives him an air of command that he doesn’t usually carry. When he says, "On your knees, pirate", there's a certain bite to his tone of voice that activates something deep in Law’s brain.

Luffy’s skin prickles again as something rabbit quick jumps up from his belly right into his throat. It whines, danger! Danger! You’re in trouble! Get away get away get away!
He’s so stupid, he knows he’s stupid, but he doesn’t think about it when he turns on his heel and runs.
Ace looks dangerous. A dark, huffing silhouette of his bulky frame at the end of the hall. The only light illuminating him from a dim lamp in his room at his back.
Luffy has seen that piercing look in Ace’s eyes only a few times, when he’s about to snap his teeth at someone, when his fists get clenched tight with blood on his knuckles, when his alpha instincts flare up.
Suddenly, Luffy remembers how predators go for the throat when catching something small.

Cora-san died on Minion Island, and Law was found when the last lingering power of his Devil Fruit died with him.
Donquixote Doflamingo eagerly brought Law back into the family fold; if everything goes to plan he will have the perfect little pawn who would willingly lay their life down for him. Rocinante's death was a pity, but the opportunity his betrayal had presented him more than made up for it. Law would become the Third Corazon of the Donquixote Family, whether he wanted to or not.
And Law would do it. He would play the perfect little pawn, earn the Family's trust, and the moment Doflamingo's guard was lowered...
It's much easier to kill with kindness than with fear.

Yuugi Mutou solves the Millennium Puzzle with the hope that it will grant him his wish for friends. Amazingly, it does; he's gained two new friends. But they're not all he's gained.
By completing the puzzle he's unleashed a spirit of the shadows, and as he comes to realize, the price he must pay is horribly steep: the spirit has chosen Yuugi as its host.
Darkness is descending on Domino City.

The loss of identity and the sands of time force the Puzzle spirit into a near-animalistic mindset, a dark soul clings too tightly to the light, and no one reacts well to realizing they're possessed.
