Solas is a professor of Ancient History at a prestigious University but prefers to keep to himself. When he leaves class one night he witnesses a hit and run car accident. He manages to save the woman, Lavellan and Vice President of the University, from the resulting car fire and they soon become friends.
(Eventual sex once their relationship is established(Chap. 12). Little violence, mostly the car crash and resulting injuries. Decided to remove the warning graphic depictions of violence, but there is some blood mention.)Series

Solas Wolfe and his coworkers, Dorian Pavus and Josephine Montilyet are running the most successful law firm in all of Ferelden. Solas, known as The Dread Wolf of the courtroom, has just won the Kirkwall Chantry V. Anders case in Anders' favor (if you call an insanity plea a favor) and some people are less than happy with him- how unhappy? Ask the smouldering remains of his apartment.
He is sent to live in protective custody with two (incredibly annoying) dalish women. Their only redeeming factor is that Ellana can cook frilly cakes.

Back to the time of the ancient elves, before Arlathan fell and the gods were locked away. Possibly before the elves even really knew of humans as anything more than primitive creatures on far-off shores. But in this strange, beautiful and cruel world of her ancestors she sees one familiar face, except his name is Fen'Harel.
A very long story, surrounding a time travelling Lavellan who falls in love with Fen'harel, how this impacts future thedas, only time will tell.

She has fallen into the hands of the Dread Wolf who wears the mask of Pride, and must find a way to win his favor to make her way home.
