“I wish I was gay..” Scott says slowly, still buzzing with alcohol inside. Not realizing the weight of his words. Wallace stares back at him, wondering what the hell to say to that. His tongue feels like lead. Without really thinking he pulls Scott to his chest, deciding not to deal with his random drunk (almost) confession.
Deciding not to think about emotions, especially not about any for his best friend. Sure he had a crush when they met about a year ago, but it died down.
Of course it has.
