Why did the candle choose specific powers for each Madrigal? Were they predestined to have these powers because it was what the village needed? No, it seems each Madrigal felt imperfect in some way, and the candle, or perhaps the candle holder, knew it... but how did Abuela Alma know these were the gifts meant for each child?
Isabela, feeling as if she would never be perfect enough for her family, given the gift of what is considered 'perfection' in nature.
Dolores, left out and never included, given the gift of never being left out of a conversation again.
Luisa, feeling as if she would never be strong enough for her family, given the gift of physical strength.
Camilo, not understanding what he needed to be to be useful for his family, given the gift of changing himself at will.
Mirabel, scared to have to work to live up to Abuela's expectations once she received her gift, given the gift of nothing.

Technoblade had been living a peaceful life in retirement with the occasional visit from his dear friend, had been all he had ever truly wanted after years fighting in tournaments that left him feeling drained. He would have been perfectly content with that lifestyle until the day that he passed away, though life had other plans for him.
Because the wildlife around his property are acting odd while the forest seems to move around unnaturally, the man left feeling as if he is constantly being watched by forces outside of mortal comprehension. Those feelings only amplified as he begins to spot a child-like figure wearing a mask that sent shivers down his spine watching him from the forest's edge.

There aren't enough "Technoblade is TommyInnit's Parent" fics in existence and very, very few IRL au's. Since there's a handful of really good IRL DadBur fics in existence, I wanted to push the Dadnoblade agenda.
This is a teen parent au, Tommy was born two months before Techno turned sixteen. Techno is 31 and 32 in this fic while Tommy is 15 and 16.
The first part of this fic happens all before Tommy joins Dream SMP in July 2020. Covering a summary of Tommy's childhood with Techno and then focusing on Earth SMP and early MCC era. The emotional chunk of the fic will be set in August 2020 during the meetup in Brighton.

“I just-I feel like the dynamic’s almost wrong?” Tommy explained, shoving another bite of chinese food into his mouth. “How so?” Was the soft reply, Techno playing Plague INC. as he listened.
“Well, you bein’ my dad-it’d make things make a bit more sense, innit?”
There was a pause, the sound of Techno’s keyboard clicking stopping with the confession.
