    A massive horse galloped over the hills outside Imperial Zuzu City, black as the night that squeezed in around Clint as he held tight to the horse’s back with his legs. Artichoke was a draft horse, used to hauling heavy loads, and wasn’t supposed to be running this far for this long. Clint knew this, but had no other option, so he had shod her well and her long legs did the rest.
    The man, the prince, secured behind Clint was shouting, but his voice was muffled by the gag that Clint had tied around his head before binding his hands and feet and dragging him out of the castle.
