Some fun interconnected fluff snippets without much plot. Takes place during their time at Marie's, but in this version John cannot see Scratch's aura like in canon. He still feels something is off and Arthur is still plagued with nightmares, but they aren't quite able to pinpoint the cause. Also the butcher was not able to get to New York as quickly, so they have a few days of semi-leisure.
Can be read as entirely platonic or pre Jarthur so I've tagged both :)

Summary
With a glance as they walk down the grocery aisle, Dean involuntarily lets out a soft, “Aw,” when he sees the way that Jack’s face is smushed against Cas’s shoulder, eyes shut and body relaxed heavily in the angel’s arms.
He can’t blame the infant at all for relaxing so easily in Cas's embrace. After last night, Dean can certainly attest to how comfortable it is.
TLDR: After one long year in the empty, Castiel is saved. Unfortunately, Dean finds himself still struggling to confront the feelings that both men are very well aware of, even though he now finally has the chance to be with the angel like he's dreamed of. Will a sudden curse placed on a loved one be the catalyst that forces those three words out of Dean after all?

(Note: Au where the hunt didn’t occur but the event where Will's clone kissed Montresor still happened.)
Montresor panics after the event with Will's clone, and starts to spiral because he doesn't know why he can't hate him for it. He remembers why his mother hated him in a flashback, and slowly comes to terms with being bi. He's a disaster, but stays relatively calm to Will, even through all the prodding and scheming Annabel does to poke at him, trying to make him break.

Summary
Dean's drunk enough that he can’t get the tears to stop flowing, but sober enough to be humiliated at the fact that he’s crying silently to himself in the bar on Valentine’s Day.
A fresh glass slides across the counter. The kind bartender pushes it close enough towards him that it comes into his field of view even despite his leaned-over, face-shielded, tear-hiding position.
His shame is visible, as is his grief.
TLDR: 3 months after Cas's passing, Dean makes his way to a bar for Valentine's Day. Everyone around him is looking for love, but Dean is struggling to handle Valentine's without his own by his side. A drunk drive home, a savior, many many tears, and a happy/hopeful ending ensue! :)

Dean quickly follows after him with a bewildered, “Where are you goi—”
“Leaving, Dean! I’m leaving,” Cas whips around to shout, and only then does Dean’s heart drop into his stomach when he sees the wateriness of the angel’s eyes; making the blues glisten brighter than Dean has seen them all week.
TLDR: Castiel, regretting his dungeon confession and fearing that he's ruined the friendship, is captured by a Djinn who gives him the love-life he'd dreamed of...at the expense of his real life. Dean, secretly in love with the angel but unsure how to confess his reciprocation, must convince Castiel to come back to reality.
